Now in his fifth season as Fair Grounds’ lead racing analyst, Joe Kristufek also fills the same role at Churchill Downs, the home of the Kentucky Derby. A horse owner himself, Joe has an extensive background in racing and wagering. He has been instrumental in the creation and hosting of fan education programs for premier racing events at tracks from coast-to-coast. A native of Chicago, Joe is well recognized for his diverse handicapping skills and suggested wagering tactics. He enjoys interacting with all racing fans—from beginner to expert.
Selections provided by Fair Grounds racing analyst, Kevin Kilroy, who is a two-time National Horseplayers Championship qualifier, finishing 21st in 2021. He specializes in trip handicapping, creative analysis, and finding reasons a horse will improve. His love of the sport began in Chicago at Hawthorne Race Course and Arlington Park.
