Rolling Sea, Unforgotten Vie in Chou Croute Handicap

NEW ORLEANS, La. (February 12, 2009) - Millennium Farms' Rolling Sea and Robert Adams' Unforgotten, a head apart when first and second respectively in Delta's $100,000 Treasure Chest Stakes Dec. 5, are set for a rematch in the $60,000 Chou Croute Handicap for older fillies and mares Saturday at Fair Grounds.

The 1 1/16-mile Valentine's Day highlight has attracted a half-dozen members of the distaff set, with Rolling Sea pegged at 9-5 in the morning line while Unforgotten is tabbed at 2-1.

Since their western Louisiana encounter at one mile, Rolling Sea journeyed east across the state to easily capture the $60,000 Truly Bound Handicap by 5 1/2 lengths Jan. 17 at Fair Grounds, while Unforgotten went West to finish third, beaten less than three lengths, in the $500,000 Sunshine Millions Distaff Jan. 24 at Santa Anita.

Rolling Sea, conditioned by Eclipse Award-winning trainer Steve Asmussen, will be ridden by Shaun Bridgmohan and shoulder the top impost of 121 pounds, while Unforgotten, trained by Dallas Stewart, has the riding services of 2007-08 Fair Grounds leading rider Jamie Theriot and carries 120 pounds.

Completing the Chou Croute field is Smart Surprise, Robby Albarado aboard; Symphony of Psalm, Carlos Gonzalez up; Final Refrain, Jesse Campbell in the irons; and She's Indy Money with Miguel Mena astride.
