Naturalyontherocks Wins Friday at Fair Gounds

NEW ORLEANS, LA (March 13, 2009) – Live Oak Plantation’s Naturalyontherocks took command entering the lane and drew off for a 6 3/ 4-length victory in Friday’s $44,000 allowance turf feature at Fair Grounds.
The odds-on choice of the fans gave leading jockey Robby Albarado his third win of the day and paid $3.80, $3 and $2.60, while accomplishing the about 1 1/16-mile distance in 1:43.10.  Trained by Malcolm Pierce, Naturalyontherocks increased his career earnings to $60,308 with his second victory in four lifetime starts.

Mogumbo Cat held the second spot at the wire, returning $11.80 and $5.40 while a neck farther back in third was Catch the Luck, who paid $2.60.

Bk’s Clearanceisle made the pace with fractions of 23.63 and 48.07 before tiring to finish 10th in the 11-horse field
