Get Rich Quick Wins Again Sunday at Fair Grounds

NEW ORLEANS, La. (January 25, 2009) - Pin Oak Stable's Get Rich Quick posted his second straight win at Fair Grounds when he circled the early leaders in the stretch to capture Sunday's allowance optional claiming feature by a half-length.

Ridden by Miguel Mena and trained by Malcolm Pierce, Get Rich Quick paid $10.20, $6.20 and $3.40. He covered about 1 1/16 miles over the firm Stall-Wilson turf in 1:44.93 and increased his career earnings to $154,491 while earning his fourth win in from 16 starts.

Longshot Unpaid Crusade, who forced the early pace of 24.46 and 49.85 set by Cirque du Soleil, continued willingly to gain the place, paying $22.40 and $12. Master Mizzen was a length farther back, returning $3.20 to show.  Cirque du Soleil tired to finish ninth.

Racing resumes Monday at Fair Grounds with a 10-race program beginning at 12:30 p.m.
