$13,800 to be Given Away for Anniversary Weekend, Nov. 13-15
Win a share of $13,800 in cash prizes to be given away this weekend as part of the First Anniversary of the Slots facility and the 138th anniversary of Thoroughbred racing at Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots. Guests who visit the Slots from 7-11 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday will have the chance to be one of 138 guests chosen randomly to receive $100 instantly.
The three-day celebration kicks into high gear Saturday evening with anniversary cake, a brass band and a second line parade through the Slots facility. Additional giveaways include custom second line umbrellas and special anniversary Mardi Gras beads. Three lucky guests will win 13,800 points to be added to their Twin Spires Slot Rewards Club account.
Throughout the weekend the Slots facility will be decorated to enhance the anniversary theme. Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots President Austin Miller will address patrons at the cake-cutting ceremony, Saturday at 7 p.m. “It is an exciting time for both our customers and employees and this celebration is our way of saying ‘thank you’ to the many loyal customers and neighbors that have supported us throughout the year,” said Miller. “We look forward to many more.”
