Analysis:

#5 Blackngoldsuprbowl-A few steady breezes in the morning should gear him up for his return to the dirt where he ran his best race out of three starts. Jockey scored a nice win in the finale on opening day.

#1 Joe Hollywood-The Congrats colt could improve off a solid effort first time out. Dangerous early speed with the inside post.

#4 Fleetwing-Barn won a 2 year old race on opening day and may get another one with this one. Beaten favorite will be competing second start at the distance.

#9 Double Hearted-What's not to like about this first time starter? High percentage trainer; top notch rider; well-bred by Lion Heart who wins 13% of his first time starters.

#3 Posse Comitatus-Chance to improve with a race under his belt. Blinks on and weight off with the bug rider in the saddle.

#2 Pitchdark-Hopefully gets things together for his second career start. Trust barn will have him ready as he cuts back in distance.

#8 Rhyme Royal-Running well in recent starts against slightly easier. Hoping to prove herself in this spot as she is winless in the 7 starts here, but this is the lowest level she has competed at FG. Nice work on Nov. 12th.

#1 Pretty Squall-Moves back to the grass where she has run her best races and shortens up in distance.

#2 Miss Rufus-done well against tougher and gets in light.

Analysis:

#6 Oxford Miss-Her first time out was successful as she managed to break her maiden as the favorite. See how she handles winners for the first time as will majority of the field. She may flash some speed or stalk the pace.

#3 Sheron's Sassy Sis-was beaten by my top selection, but I suspect she will offer more from the Tom Richey barn who should have her ready off the layoff (24%).

#5 Champagne Tommie-The move to the dirt after competing on the Tapeta for three starts was a good move. A chance to run off the pace in a short field.

Analysis:

#6 Belend-returns fresh, nice run last out against a fast pace. May be able to catch them this time out.

#3 Power Surge-the Calhoun stable should have him ready for his return off a 5 month layoff. Good works in the am prove that he's fit and ready. Hopefully distance is not too short so use underneath.

#5 Zacaroid-facing much tougher in the last two. Returns fresh off the bench.

#5 Nimble Tiger-Should be a decent amount of speed to set up for the Roar of the Tiger colt who has been running against much tougher in the last 5 starts now facing condition claimers for the first time could be what he needs to gradaute.

#7 Mr. Shortly-Moves back to the dirt with early speed with a big drop.

#1 Racing Office Joe-Competes at a lower price tag with a draw to the inside hoping to show more.

#3 Now and Forever-seems to be a good spot for the 4yo filly to get a solid stalking trip.

#1 Forest Uproar-won easily last out off a year layoff. One of the top runners in the field, but could bounce.

#6 Token Diva-very consistent finishing on the board as of late. Play in the exotics at a square price.

Analysis:

#5 Show Elle Thestage-done well overcoming the outside post, made a middle move and rallied late to get only beat by a few lengths first time out. New barn with jockey Mena aboard.

#4 Sweet Ruston-attempted to stalk the pace first time out to only get tired and lost by only 4 lengths in her debut. Trainer/ jockey win at a 15% clip.

#9 Catherine's Lady-well-bet in her debut as she is going against LA breds only for the first time her second start out. Trainer wins at 24% from turf to dirt.

#1 Snug-multiple stakes winner is in great form coming off a sensational performance last outing in the Gold Cup Stakes at Delta. Will look to stalk a contested pace with Melancon aboard.

#5 Desert Wheat-looking for win number 3 in the Mr Sulu Stakes. Going be tough turning for home.

#9 Chief Jay-has early speed and will try to clear the field early on. May last for a piece.

Analysis:

#7 Rubicund-hoping for a repeat like last year on the FG dirt. Dangerous early in a rather paceless race. Extremely tough in this spot.

#3 Honour Rocket-Makes a suspicious drop, however, barn does this often so give this one a closer look.

#6 Numinous-Nice win two starts back running short as he cuts back distance after a dull performance. Nice breeze out of the gate earlier this month.

Analysis:

#7 Calling Station-caught at the wire last out nearly going wire to wire at a slightly longer distance. Should like the shorter distance. Reunited with rider Jesse Campbell.

#9 Tiger Rock-been making rounds in the Lousiana circuit managing to hit the board in all six starts.

#2 Bud Is Choice-very consistent with a few close finishes in two of the three starts. Draw a line through May 8th race when he was hard used after breaking from the outside to catch the lead in the opening quarter. Can compete with these.
