Clubhouse Dinning (Accommodates up to 700): The Clubhouse Dining Room is a fan favorite for a Day at the Races. Spend an afternoon in the ultra-modern, glass-enclosed facility, with floor-to-ceiling windows allowing family, friends or co-workers a grand view as the horses battle down the stretch. Enjoy a day of fantastic food and beverage from your reserved tables, along with conveniently located mutuel tellers, self-service terminals and televisions at every table to keep up with all of the action of the day.
Clubhouse Reception (Accommodates 100-400): Located on the 4th floor, the Clubhouse Reception Room is perfect for your next social or corporate event, class reunion, holiday party or wedding. Have a daytime or evening reception overlooking the Paddock with views of downtown New Orleans. With floor-to-ceiling windows, the Clubhouse Reception area offers an expansive “room with a view.” The versatile space can accommodate up to 400 guests, and when combined with the 5th floor, it can accommodate up to 600.
Parterre Suite (Accommodates 20-40): Fair Grounds’ most deluxe accommodation for a Day at the Races offers a private suite in the Clubhouse. Host an afternoon of races with features including a Hors d’oeuvres package, open bar with attendant and the popular trophy presentation. The Suite is also equipped with flat screen televisions and a self service terminal. The Parterre Suite is sure to provide a prime atmosphere for corporate hospitality and distinctive celebrations.
Black Gold Room (Accommodates 90-200): Located in the Derby Building, adjacent to the Grandstand, the Black Gold Room is the perfect place for an afternoon of racing fun or for an evening for that special get together. Guests can enjoy the excitement of live racing in their own private room, with features including a private balcony overlooking the track, conveniently located mutuel tellers, self-service terminals, television monitors and a fully staffed buffet and bar.
Paddock Mezzanine (Accommodates 20-40): Located on the 2nd floor, west side of the Grandstand, this casual balcony provides a mix of both indoor and outdoor fun. Watch the horses as they parade into the Paddock, while enjoying hors d’oeuvres and an open bar of beer and wine. As post time approaches, enjoy access to your reserved seating area in the glass-enclosed Grandstand and watch as the horses race to the Finish Line. Features include conveniently located mutuel tellers, self-service terminals and flat screen televisions tuned to watch all of the heart pounding excitement.
Stakes Room (Accommodates 20-30): An intimate setting, located on the 1st floor, just inside from the Paddock and Slots Facility. Equipped with flat screen televisions and customized food and beverage packages, the Stakes Room is flexible for any small function, from an Executive Meeting to Football Sunday.
Phoenix Room (Accommodates up to 60): Conveniently located on the 3rd floor of the Grandstand, groups can begin the day in a private room. Hold your business meeting in the morning and when work is done, spend an action packed afternoon at the races.
Grandstand Buffet (Accommodates up to 140 seated): Located on the 2nd floor of the Grandstand overlooking the Slots floor. With 4,410 square feet, the Grandstand Buffet is perfect for casual group buffets.
Apron Tent: Located on the Track Apron, just above the Finish Line, the 3,200 square foot tent is versatile and an open canvas to host any type of event.
Grandstand (Accommodates up to 800): With three floors of multifunctional space, the Grandstand has ample capacity to host meetings, product demonstrations, expos and seminars, to name a few. With theater-style seating and three concourse areas, the Grandstand is an ideal venue to serve multiple purposes.
Paddock (Accommodates 300 - 700): Looking for a more truly unique environment? Then the Paddock may be more to your liking. Whether you are planning an expo, a fundraiser or wedding ceremony, you will be among the many greats in history that have paraded around this historic site. Use first floor of the Grandstand and Track Apron in conjunction with the Paddock and your capacity will double.
Parking Lot: With over 750,000 square feet, the Parking Lot offers a variety of configurations for large or small events. The Parking Lot features ample, secured space available for events like Ride & Drives to Television & Film Production Staging. Other amenities such as catering, security, tenting, tables and chairs, port-o-lets and lighting are available to make your event a success.
