We played the chalk exacta and after being briefly interrupted by Break Up, Louisiana Champions Day returned to its regularly scheduled programming with another heavy favorite coming through. At least we were on board this time. A $14 return on the $2 exacta just seemed to generous to pass up, as much as we hate playing chalk. It was $13 when we made the bet and rarely do you expect to see the price on the chalk actually float up but that's what happened.
Superior Storm won her seventh straight state-bred stakes event and John Jacinto bagged his second stakes of the day.
